Just like above, all off-Marketplace ACA-Qualified Plans follow the Minimum Essential Benefits guidelines, cover Pre-Existing Conditions, and are prohibited from applying "annual caps." More commonly known as Short Term Health Insurance
Plans are designed as stopgap measures and ARE NOT ACA-Qualified (see above). Short Term Health Insurance Plans DO NOT cover pre-existing conditions, DO NOT follow the Minimum Essential Benefits guidelines, and can impose annual spending caps.
